Car Hire
There is so much to see and do all along the Costa Blanca and the best way to get around is by hiring a car. All of the well known hire firms have desks at Alicante's El Altet airport and if you intend to hire a car we would recommend booking in advance so your car will be waiting for you on arrival and also to save any disappointment. During July & August temperatures can reach 40c so if you take your holidays in those months you are advised to pre book a car with air conditioning. If hotel transfer is included in any travel arrangements you have made you can still hire a car when you arrive in Albir. All of the hire desks have English speaking agents so you won't have to face any of those embarrassing language barriers.
Before you take off in a hire car (or any other car) please take the time to make yourself familiar with some of the Spanish driving laws. You'll see there are certain safety items which you must carry in the car so it's worth checking so that when you get your hire car you can make sure these items have been included in the hiring.
